Injection Training: Certain medications require the patient to administer their medications by injection. Our pharmacists and clinical nurse are happy to offer one-on-one injection training to provide you with the instructions and support you need so that you can confidently and safely administer your medications on your own.
Complete Billing Services: Grubb’s NW welcomes all prescriptions and we can bill to almost all insurance plans, including DC and MD ADAP. Our pharmacy team will also perform benefit checks and initiate prior authorizations to ensure you get your prescriptions quickly and for the lowest out-of-pocket cost. Patient Education: Along with offering the most innovative services, our pharmacy team provides its patients with the information and care you need. We take the time to discuss safe and effective use of your medications, possible side effects, and any drug-drug interactions. Our pharmacists are also happy to help with selecting over-the-counter products and will counsel you on the correct usage of OTC and prescription medications.
Support Groups: Grubb’s NW is rooted in the community and actively participates in the community. We know that patients sometimes need more than just their medications. That’s why we also offer patient support groups for certain disease states. These support groups are intended to offer a group environment where patients can learn, ask questions, find support and make friends with others experiencing similar circumstances.
Refill Reminder Program: We know that your schedule can be hectic and when your medications run low, we want to ensure that your refills are ready to be filled. We will have a dedicated pharmacy team member call you every month to review your medications, address any issues and schedule a pick-up or delivery date for your monthly medications.
Delivery Service: We offer prescription delivery service anywhere within DC for either a small fee or in some cases for free. If you are located outside of the District, we provide delivery service via courier service, UPS or FedEx. We provide free delivery service to physician offices and medical facilities.
